It is a city many people across the world dream of living in or working in; but you know the stark reality is not THAT beautiful!  It's a place, which has got all the giant financial companies and is home to two of the largest stock exchanges – NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange; it is also the most photographed city in the world!  It is iconic for its centers such as Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, Staten Island, and Broadway Theatre District; anchored by Wall Street right into the middle of Financial District of Lower Manhattan. The transformation of televisions to electronic televisions has changed from a niche invention to a living room mainstay and various sitcoms post 50s have made television audiences beyond loyal. It was surely a golden age for sitcoms and it had the effect of being a great ‘fantasy’ of good guys always there to ‘distract’ us from the cold brutalities of the Cold War. Surprisingly it is the ‘Mecca’ for writers, thinkers and artists from all over the world. John Grisham, David Baldacci  , Catherine Lacey, Ben Lerner and many more adding to the list of writers.
